Easy steps to install latest google chrome in Linux Mint 15

In this post I am sharing the easy steps to install latest google chrome in Linux Mint 15.
If you are a first time Linux user and it is also your first time using Linux Mint 15 in system this easy steps will help you to understand how you can install other compatible softwares in Linux Mint 15 also.

Given below are the steps to install latest google chrome

Step 1: Open the web browser (firefox) in your system and visit the Google Chrome download page. Click here, Download Google Chrome. Download the Google Chrome by clicking the Download Chrome button

Step 2:
You will get the Google Term and Service page. Because the Linux Mint is based in Ubuntu. Select the radio button option have .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu) . If your system has 32 bit then select 32 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu) or if it is 64 bit OS select 64 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu)

[ To know which bit of OS you are using click on Menu >> System Tools >> System Settings >> System Info and Read Distribution detail ]

Step 3: After this Download save window will open. Save the file in your desired location.

Step 4: After the file get downloaded. Right click on downloaded file and select “Open With GDebi Package Installer”

Step 5: Now click on Install Package

Step 6: For installation you have to give password.Give your password and click OK

Step 7: After a few minutes the installation will be finished and it will appear in a menu.
