1. Issue from ISP ( Internet Service Provider ) end.
2. Suddenly shutdown of system
3. Disconnection from network cable or Wifi devices etc.
So next question comes, how to download file even after internet disconnection ?
The answer is quite simple with wget command use the option
For example, I want to download the CentOS 7 iso file which is very big in size and do not want to rework on internet disconnection. So I will prefer to use the below given command
wget --continue http://ftp.iitm.ac.in/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-1503-01.iso
Next time when you think for downloading the big size files, use
--continue option with wget command.
wget --continue [OPTIONS] [URL]
